Design Process
From research to a product that feels effortless
How I work: a UX/UI design process covering user research, defining the problem, wireframing, prototyping and usability testing. Below is the way I move through a project, and the thinking behind each stage.
- 01
Research
Every project starts with understanding the people who will use the product. I run user interviews, map pain points and study the context the product lives in, so decisions are grounded in real behaviour rather than assumptions.
- 02
Define
Findings are distilled into clear problem statements, user flows and measurable objectives. This stage aligns everyone on what we are solving and how we will know it worked.
- 03
Wireframing
Ideas take shape as low-fidelity wireframes. I explore layout, hierarchy and navigation quickly, testing structure before investing in visual detail.
- 04
Prototyping & Testing
Interactive, high-fidelity prototypes bring the experience to life. I test them with real users, watch where they hesitate and iterate on interaction, motion and visual design until the product feels effortless.
